Husaberg Motosports 2004 Supermoto Series final.

The final round was a wet one. After 7 months and 7 rounds the Pro Open class which had 40 different entrants over the series came down to the last round.

Stephen Briggs had lead the series until he missed the 6th round, was now out of the hunt for the title. It was that close.Brigg's team mate Brendon Stephenson now took the series lead going into the final round. After holding a horsepower advanrtage throughout the series on his booming KTM Stephenson, who had sent his No 1 machine to Australia to compete in their national series, now had to contend with a rampant Paul Brown on his McFarland Honda CRF450. In the last two rounds Brown came up with the goods and was all but unstoppable.
