Kinsella rides again.

.Below is is a brief exert from an email to Supermoto NZ from Greg Kinsella who is leading the NZ Supermoto nationals after two rounds. Kinsella was unable to do the final round of our championship as he had to return to his native Ireland to defend his national title there.

Kinsella was a fantastic addition to our championship aboard a VOR 570 (he rides TM machines in Ireland) and says he'll be back next year to do all the rounds. The final round of the NZ Supermoto nats is this weekend at Taupo (Sunday 20th March, Centennial Park Raceway).

Greg Kinsella's email:

-Just letting you know how I got on at round 1 of the Irish Championship (The reason I had to come home!!)

It was the first time I rode my new TM's but by the end of the day I was over a second faster than the nearest competitor who was former Irish champ David McKee (Husky UK).

On race day I set the fastest times in both the 450 & Prestige (S1) class. I won both 450 finals but was only 2nd in Presige final one & 4th in final two due to a stall. I will try to get you some photo's of the TM's & me on them, they usually take a few days to surface though & I just pinch them off the net, ha!

So right at this minute I am leading the Irish & New Zealand Supermoto championships, it's a real shame I cant get back this weekend to finish it off, but all going well I will be back next year for the whole thing. If you want any more info or anything just mail me & I will get it for you,

Cheers,

Greg

Supermoto NZ wishes Greg all the best and looks forward to seeing him again next year.
