The Red Bull AMA Supermoto is shaping up as a must see, with some classy competitors styling it up for all and suntry. The 1st round kicked off as a support meeting for the World Superbike Championship at Laguna Seca. Round 2 had 3 time AMA Superbike Champion take the win from KTM team mate Benjamin Carlson. Aussie Supermoto Champion Mark Avard made the most of a 1st turn crash (that had a number of riders fall including a hard charging Schwantz who fought back to 4th) and the late demise (crash) of Freestyler Mike Metzger to claim 3rd.
