.And the winner is...shock , horror. The boys go to the trouble of getting all that flash Supermotard kit. The big brake rotors, 17inch wheels/ tyres and all the kit fitted to their KTaha 526 and Dad and the boy turn up and smoke them on a RM85!!

I am of course talking about the exploits of Craig and Mason Wilkie who motored away from a speedy Le Mans start and never looked back. The RM proved plenty fast enough in the moist conditions, early on (there is only so much power you can get down in tricky conditions) and opened the gap every time a mandatory rider change required stopping and restarting the bike. Along with some great riding the 'Big Boys' never did close them down.

 

Cheap racing? You bet and you could probably use the RM for other things as well...like maybe a bit of motocross.
