Germany's Jurgen Kunzel opened up his lead in the World Supermoto Championship on the weekend.

In damp conditions Kunzel took positions away from KTM teamate Boris Chambon who currently holds 2nd in the championship.

Belguim's Eddy Seel was scoring strongly with maximum points in the prelim races before slipping to a eighth place finish in the Superfinal. Seel still maintains 3rd in the points. The next round in the championship is in Germany next weekend.
