Joining a long list of supposedly retired racers
ex Supercross and Motocross champion Doug Henry is set to
ride a CRF450 for the remaining rounds in the American Supermoto
series. Henry was the first rider to win a Supercross on a
four stroke machine when he won on the revolutionary new Yamaha
YZ400F back in the late ninties.
The AMA Supermoto series has already seen some
of America's (and the world's) greatest racers competing in
the series. Former world champions Kevin Schwantz (Moto GP)
and Scott Russell (Superbike) have banged bars with the likes
of Jeremy McGrath (Supercross legend), Mike Mezger (freestyle),
David Bailey (MX and Nascar) along with a host of other talent.
The American series culminates in a 'Grand Final'
in Las Vagas in November.
