Everyone had fun and games at Aucklands Waikaraka Park on
Sunday afternoon. With nobody really knowing what to expect
the start line looked like nothing you've ever seen. It's
not unusal to have a range of compound tyres on the same grid
and even wets on 1 bike and slicks on another (when there
is uncertainty over the weather in road racing) but on Sunday
we had all that and riders on knobblies as well.
We had people winning races on both types of
tyre with Brendon Stephenson holding out fellow KTM racer
Stephen Briggs in the final race.

up for 4 races for $10! (photo R McFarlane)

The KTM riders discuss what might work
for the next race.
